Participatory democracy

We mobilize citizen participation on a topic or issue in a given territory (from local communities to regions) in order to collect their proposals or have them debate policies and action plans.

Our method is based on :

  • coordinated use of the internet exchanges and usual face-to-face participatory democracy procedures;
  • defining an overall structured process, perceived as legitimate by stakeholders because its objectives and relationship to decision are made explicit;
  • ... to which citizen of diverse background can participate at various implication level;
  • For the internet part, we implement simple-to-use innovative free/open source software web platforms and act as facilitators to their usage.
