Latest co-ment improvements
The co-ment team is pleased to announce the deployment on www.co-ment.net and the availability for download of the latest co-ment version 0.99. This release features various improvements and bugs fixes. Our favorite new feature being email notification, a useful complement to RSS feeds for informing users of any activity on a text they would like to follow.
Latest improvements on co-ment.net

- Printing text with its comments has been improved: comments scope are colored as they are in the browser.
- Notification via email is now available: after you subcribe to email alerts on a text you will receive notifications whenever a new comment is added or a new version is created. To subscribe use the link in the comments list header.
- Safari browser now supported. (Tested under version 3.2.1)
- Various RSS feed bugs have been fixed and text modifications are now made available in the feed.
- Connected users making comments may now modify or delete their comments as long as the comment has not been answered to or modified by a moderator. This enables comment authors to correct typos or errors in their own comments.
Norton Internet Security users: using Norton Internet Security on large texts might block the loading of the text. Simply add a security protection exception for co-ment.net.

co-ment version 0.99 has been released and is the last step toward the 1.0 version that is soon to be released.
- The supported database is now Postgresql 8.3 (see UPGRADE.txt to migrate from Postgresql 8.2)
- Install Procedure has been polished and tested by numerous early adopters
- Note: we decided that the YUI javascript libraries would now be delivered from the site hosting a co-ment instance by default.
