A Plone product designed to use automatic translation tools to translate plone multilingual contents.

Warning: this product is no longer maintained (and thus not compatible with recent plone releases).

Goal

The goal of this product is to be able to use translation services (like altavista or google) to do a first translation of a document.
Such a traduction is never perfect but always a good point to get started and help maintaining translations in multilingual sites.

Architecture

This product integrates with (and needs) Archetypes content type and Lingua Plone.
It is not intrusive in the sense that it just adds a tool and a new tab for plone documents.
A translator registry mecanism allows you to create you own wrapper around a new translator that you may have.
