Service problems on Sunday 5 July 2009

Due to a temporary failure in a physical device managed by our connectivity provider, our servers' performance degraded from Saturday 4 July, 3 pm. The servers were unattainable from Sunday 5 July, 3 pm to Monday 6 July, 9am. We apologize to users of our sites and Web services for this very unusual failure.

Latest co-ment improvements

The co-ment team is pleased to announce the deployment on www.co-ment.net and the availability for download of the latest co-ment version 0.99. This release features various improvements and bugs fixes. Our favorite new feature being email notification, a useful complement to RSS feeds for informing users of any activity on a text they would like to follow.

view commments (and add new ones if allowed to) through an unobstrusive
interface within your site that looks a little like the one you are used to
on co-ment.net.
- text only embedding: the number of comments and a link to your text on
coment.net will be added at the bottom of the embedded text.
